BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott College goaltender Eric Hagarty (Sudbury, Mass.) has been named the ECAC New England co-Goalie of the Week, as announced by the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference communications office Friday morning.
Hagarty, who backstopped Endicott to a 10-7 win over Tufts University last week, got his week started by earning The Commonwealth Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors for his 22 save effort against the Jumbos. Hagarty followed that performance with an equally impressive 22 save output against new TCCC foe Western New England College, helping the Gulls down the Golden Bears, 8-7, in a double-overtime thriller in Beverly.
Hagarty and the 15th-ranked Gulls put their unblemished TCCC record on the line Saturday afternoon as they host Roger Williams University on Senior Day. The Hawks fly onto the Endicott campus with a five-game winning streak and a 5-1 conference record. Game time is slated for 12:00 p.m.
