The Endicott College men's lacrosse senior class went out in style today defeating CCC rival New England College 20-6. The Gulls jumped out to a quick 6-1 first quarter lead. Senior Captain Burt Fahy (Needham, MA) netted the first two goals of the game. Fahy finished the afternoon with five goals. Freshman Josh Gilbert (Simsbury, CT) also scored five goals for the Gulls. Senior Sam Chidester (Eliot, ME) was also a key factor on the attack scoring three goals and adding two assists. Dishing out assists for his teammates was Kevin Lally (Derry, NH). Lally finished the game with one goal and eight assists. Sophomore Dan Ryan (Billerica, MA) scored one of his two goals and and assist on a first quarter man up, while Junior Parker Sowles (Cumberland, ME) would score three goals and assist on one other. The Scoring for Endicott was not only by offensive players. Face off specialist Ryan Tobin (Quincy, MA) would go 14 of 12 on face off's while scoring one goal. Junior defensemen Ryan Fraine (Billerica, MA) assisted on two goals. Senior defensemen Josh Maciorowski (Guilford, CT) and Patrick Phelan (West Hartford, CT) supported Junior goalie Ryan Walsh (Weymouth, MA) who made 15 saves The Gulls are currently 10-3 overall and 6-0 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The Gulls will travel to Gordon College on Tuesday for a 4:00pm face-off.
