The Endicott College Men's lacrosse team improved to 8-2 overall and 4-0 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference by beating NEWMAC power Babson College. The Gulls took control of the game with face-off specialist Sophomore Ryan Tobin (Quincy, MA). Tobin led the Gulls in ground balls with 9 will pushing the ball on the offense end of the field for the Gulls.
Senior attackman Sam Chidester (Eliot, ME) paced Endicott with four goals, while Junior midfielder Kevin Lally (Derry, NH) recorded one goal and five assists in the contest. Senior Captain Burt Fahy (Needham, MA) netted three goals and one assist, while Freshman attackman Josh Gilbert (Simsbury, CT) scored three goals. The scoring was concluded with Junior midfielder Parker Sowles (Cumberland, ME) adding one goal and an assist.
The defense was led by Junior Goalie Jeff Pardue who made 11 spectacular saves between the pipes. The Gulls man down defense held Babson to 0-7 on man up opportunities.
The Gulls will travel to \#13 nationally ranked Amherst College on April 11th at 4:00pm.
