Men’s Ice Hockey Dominates Salem State, 6-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's ice hockey team moved its winning streak to seven straight games on Saturday afternoon at Raymond J. Bourque Arena with a 6-0 victory over crosstown rival Salem State University.

Cam Bleck (Lake Forest, Ill.) scored twice in the third period, while the Gulls also received tallies from Joseph Slovak (So. Yarmouth, Mass.), John Carricato (Ridge, N.Y.), Jack Musil (Hull, England), and Ross Olsson (Billerica, Mass.) in the win (7-2-2). Slovak's goal at 12:15 of the first on feeds from Michael Heidkamp (Marrieta, Ga.) and Lloyd Hayes (W. Newbury, Mass.) served as the game-winner (third career).

Endicott junior netminder Kevin Aldridge (Birmingham, Mich.) stopped 20 shots to claim his sixth career shutout (third in a row, 6-2-2 overall record). Jason Pucciarelli (Newmarket, Ontario) recorded 55 saves in the loss (3-3-2).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 2-1-0 in the all-time series versus Salem State.
  • The Gulls are 7-0-1 when Slovak scores in a contest.
