BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott men's ice hockey student-athletes Kevin Aldridge (Birmingham, Mich.) and Brendan Shane (Rochester, N.Y.) have claimed Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Goaltender and Rookie of the Week honors, respectively, for their efforts in games played from November 28 to December 4.
Aldridge earned two conference shutouts for Endicott last week keeping both Curry and Western New England off the board. He made 23 saves against the Colonels on Thursday (Dec. 1) before having his third 30-plus save performance of the year on Saturday (Dec. 3) against the Golden Bears.
Meanwhile, Shane finished the week with a plus-six rating and recorded a goal and four assists for the Gulls. His big game came on Thursday (Dec. 1) against Curry when he tied a program single-game record with three assists and also added a short-handed goal. He picked up another assist in a 5-0 win against Western New England on Saturday (Dec. 3).
