PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — The Endicott men's golf team placed second overall at the Roger Williams University (RWU) Invitational on Tuesday evening to open its 2021 season. Today's event was played at the Green Valley Country Club (par 71).
Nichols took the top spot among the field of conference foes with a score of 324, while Endicott (327), RWU (345), and Western New England University (346) followed in respective order.
The Gulls were led by Frank Mahoney (Braintree, Mass.) as the freshman finished tied for first overall with a score of 79.
Endicott also saw Clark Brown (Stowe, Vt.) and Ronan Lucey (Bow, N.H.) tie for fourth place (82), while Jack Bushee (Bennington, Vt.) and Nicholas Grimbilas (Strafford, N.H.) rounded out the lineup with scores of 84 (t-8th) and 85 (t-10th), respectively.

Endicott will host the Endicott Invitational (Beverly GC) on Tuesday, April 13 at 1 PM.
