SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Following the team's first win of the 2013 campaign, sophomore Austin Teal (Loudonville, N.Y.) has been named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Golfer of the Week.  The honor comes on the heels of the team's first place finish at the UNE Invitational and comes as the team in competing at the Southern Maine Invitational.  This is the team's first ever CCC Golfer of the Week honors.

Teal took home medalist honors at last Tuesday's UNE Invitational, carding a three-over-par 72 and beating the next-closest competitor by three strokes and the next-closest CCC golfer by four shots.  Teal's performance lifted the Gulls to the team championship, as Endicott posted a 305 team score en route to a six-stroke win.

Endicott is now finishing day two of the USM Invitational before heading to the Crumping Fox Club to compete in the 2013 ECAC Division III Championships on Saturday and Sunday.
