BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott football team (1-0) is set to host WPI (1-0) on Friday, September 10 in a primetime 7 PM matchup at Hempstead Stadium. Here's a preview of this week's contest. 

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW 

• Friday's game marks the third meeting in the all-time series (WPI 2-0 all-time, last meeting 2004).
• WPI enters this weekend's matchup 13-2 in its last 15 games (10-1 in 2019).
• The Engineers were picked third (tied) in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Preseason Poll.
• Last week against Worcester State (W, 38-20), WPI gained 324 yards on the ground, averaging 6.6 yards per rush, and was led by the three-headed rushing attack of Hunter Carey, Brandon Winn, and Zachary Levy, who accounted for all five scores.
• Friday's contest will serve as Endicott's third "Friday Night Lights" game in school history.

Endicott will take its show on the road for the first time this season against Catholic on Saturday, September 18 at 12 PM. WPI will play host to RPI on September 18 at 2:30 PM.
