Equestrian Shines At UNH And Home Event

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott equestrian team competed in two shows last weekend and fared well in both as the Gulls earned a second place finish at its own home show and a sixth place showing at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) show.

UNH HOME SHOW

On Saturday, October 31 the equestrian team headed up to Durham, N.H. to participate in the UNH equestrian team's home show. It was a fun day with lots of Halloween spirit! The courses were challenging and the Endicott team riders had to ride hard and use all their riding skills. There were a handful of blue ribbon winners and the team ended up with a sixth place performance. Those who brought home blue ribbons were:

Silvia Graf (New London, N.H.) - Open over fences

Kyra Crist (Marblehead, Mass.) - Novice Over Fences

ENDICOTT HOME SHOW

On Sunday, November 1, the Gulls ran their home show at Spring Tide Farm in Boxford, Mass. The show went well as all the horses were great, and the horse providers were awesome to work with too. The team also worked together well to put on a great home show for the fans and the other teams competing. Those who got blue ribbons were as follows:

Caitlin Dwyer (Nashua, N.H.) - Intermediate on the flat

Emily Charette (Tiverton, R.I.) - Open over fences

Tracy Crosby (Norfolk, Mass.) - Advanced Walk trot canter

Kaitlyn Lawson - Walk Trot
