Endicott Places Third Overall At Dartmouth

ETNA, N.H. – This past Saturday, the Endicott equestrian team headed out early in the morning to Dartmouth College for their home show. It was a brisk morning that also showcased some strange weather throughout the day, but that did not stop the Gulls from finishing third overall, and only two points behind the second place winners.

Student-athletes who showed were:

Emily Charette (Tiverton, R.I.), Caitlin Dwyer (Nashua, N.H.), Silvia Graf (New London, N.H.), Lillian Dugan (Kinnelon, N.J.), Nicole McClellan (Tolland, Mass.), Abby Raynes (York, Maine), Emily Garland, Shannon Day, Kyra Crist (Marblehead, Mass.), Kate Moore (Scarborough, Maine), Tracy Crosby (Norfolk, Mass.), Meredith Bemus (Wilton, Conn.), Bronwen Hall, Julia Cirignano (Winchester, Mass.), Kelly Rhinelander, Madison Bridge, Michelle Lorenti (Andover, Mass.), Alexa Bleicken, Kaitlyn Lawson.

Those who brought home first place ribbons were:

Emily Charette - Open over Fences

Kyra Crist - Novice Over Fences

Meredith Bemus - Advanced Walk Trot Canter

"There were some challenging rides for some of the team members last weekend but they did not waiver. I was very pleased with our four freshmen who began their IHSA career at Dartmouth. They all rode great and handled the show very well," said Endicott equestrian head coach Bethany Jones. "Overall, the team did a great job this past weekend and I cannot wait to keep bringing the same enthusiasm and competitive riding to Colby Sawyer next weekend."

Endicott travels to Warner, N.H. on Sunday, October 25 to compete in the Colby-Sawyer College show.
