Equestrian Competes At Colby-Sawyer College Show

BRADFORD, N.H – The Endicott equestrian team saw four student-athletes bring home first place ribbons on Sunday at the Colby-Sawyer College show.

Representing the first place ribbon winners for the Gulls were Lillian Dugan (Kinnelon, N.J.), Silvia Graf (New London, N.H.), Julia Cirignano (Winchester, Mass.), and Emily Garland. Dugan highlighted the group by winning a high point ride off, which occurs after two or more or student-athletes tie for first place at the conclusion of their event. Dugan is the first rider for Endicott this season to compete in and win a ride off.  

Endicott also had the following student-athletes show last weekend: 

Emily Charette (Tiverton, R.I.), Caitlin Dwyer (Nashua, N.H.), Abbie Hunt, Abby Raynes (York, Maine), Nicole McClellan (Tolland, Mass.), Meredith Bemus (Wilton, Conn.), McKenzie Paiva, Tracy Crosby (Norfolk, Mass.), Kyra Crist (Marblehead, Mass.), Madison Bridge, Alexa Bleicken, Kaitlyn Lawson, Kate Moore (Scarborough, Maine).

As a team, Endicott finished tenth overall behind the strong performances from Dugan, Graf, Cirignano, and Garland.

"We are looking forward to UNH this Saturday and running our own show on Sunday at Spring Tide Farm," said Endicott equestrian head coach Bethany Jones. "We have a lot of ground to make back up and are looking forward to doing so this weekend!"

Endicott travels to Durham, N.H. on Saturday, October 31 to compete in the University of New Hampshire show (UNH Equine Center).
