Letts Earns United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region Accolades

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott junior defender Kadrianna Letts (Beverly, Mass.) has been named to the United Soccer Coaches Women's NCAA Division III Scholar All-East Region Third Team, as announced by the organization earlier today.

To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must be nominated by her head coach and meet the following criteria: (1) Have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout her career; (2) Start more than 50 percent of all games and be an elite player as supported by playing honors (i.e., all-conference) or contributions to the success of her team; (3) Plays for a current United Soccer Coaches College Services member institution; (4) Be a junior or above in athletic standing at the current institution and be in her second year at the current institution if a transfer student.

Letts will now be considered by the United Soccer Coaches committee for one of the Scholar All-America teams. The committee reviews both the academic and athletic accomplishments of the nominees.

As for Letts' academic career (to date), she currently sports a 3.40 cumulative grade point average (GPA) as a Communication Sciences and Disorders major at Endicott. Letts has claimed one Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Academic All-Conference award in her short time at The Nest and is likely to receive another CCC Academic All-Conference honor later this academic year.

Athletically, Letts earned a bevy of awards in 2018 including CCC Defensive Player of the Year honors, a nod to the CCC All-Conference First Team, two All-Region accolades, and one National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-America laurels.

Meanwhile, this past season, Letts was named to the CCC All-Conference First Team and also received United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-Region Third Team accolades. Much like having the potential to earn another CCC Academic All-Conference honor later this year, Letts is in the running to receive at least one more All-Region honor before the postseason awards window closes.
