No. 20 Women's Lacrosse Edges MIT, 16-15

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's lacrosse team defeated MIT, 16-15, on Wednesday afternoon at Jack Barry Field. 

Julia Lantieri (Glastonbury, Conn.) paced the Gulls (4-0) offensively with four goals, while Kiana Napolitano (Revere, Mass.), Katie Schenk (Southbury, Conn.), and Katy Garvin (Mansfield, Mass.) each scored three times for Endicott. 

Also contributing in attack for the Gulls was Maya Feigenbaum (West Hartford, Conn.), and Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.) who scored two and one goal respectively. 

In net, Alexandra Rose (East Lyme, Conn.) made eight saves to improve to 4-0 on the season. 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE 

  • Endicott improves to 8-5 all-time over MIT.
  • Morgan Pike (Shapleigh, Maine) led the Gulls with three assists in the contest. 
  • Four goals is a game-high for Lantieri.
  • Three goals is a game-high for Garvin.
  • Schenk has had three goals in every game she has scored.
