Landry Collects Second Straight CCC Men’s Cross Country Rookie Of The Week Award

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Endicott freshman Austin Landry (Readfield, Maine) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week for the second straight week after his performance at the Emmanuel College Saints Invitational last Saturday.

Landry clocked a time of 27.27.8 on the 8-kilometer course for a 15th place finish among a field of 203 runners at the Saints Invitational. Landry finished eighth among all freshmen in the event and led the Gulls to fourth place among 22 teams.

Two weeks ago, Landry ran a personal best time of 27:25.33 on the 8-kilometer course at the James Early Invitational to finish 37th overall out of 373 runners (first overall among CCC freshmen), and claim his first career CCC Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week honor.

Endicott now has two weeks to prepare for its postseason run that begins on October 31st with the CCC Championship at Roger Williams.
