BEVERLY, Mass. - After several washouts this week, the TCCC Semifinals finally get under way when the Endicott College Gulls travel to Newport, R.I. to take on Salve Regina in the TCCC Tournament Friday at 3:00 p.m. Endicott currently sits at 11-5 overall while the Seahawks enter tomorrow's matchup at 9-9 overall. The two teams tied for second place during the regular season with Salve getting the higher seed in the tournament due to a 7-2 victory over the Gulls earlier this season.

In the team's last matchup, the Seahawks swept all three doubles matches and fought their way to wins in four of the six singles matches against the Gulls. Endicott hopes to reverse their fortunes and move onto the TCCC Championship for the first time in the program's history.

On Tuesday afternoon, three of Endicott's men's tennis players were named to the The Commonwealth Coast Conference All-TCCC teams. Josh Schoen (Phoenix, Ariz. was named to the All-TCCC First Team for his efforts this season while Dan Murray (Coventry, R.I.) was named to the All-TCCC Second Team. Both were honored as All-TCCC Second Team members in doubles play as the duo combined to go 4-2 at number one doubles in the TCCC. Scott Teller (Granville, N.Y.) earned an All-TCCC Honorable Mention nod as he went a combined 6-2 in numbers four and five singles play, including a perfect 2-0 at number four singles.
