No. 18/20 Men’s Lacrosse Handles Curry, 26-7

BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 18/20 Endicott men's lacrosse team defeated Curry, 26-7, in a conference tilt at Hempstead Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. 

The duo of Tommy Tyksinski (Guilderland, N.Y.) and Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y) registered four tallies apiece, while Guerin Favreau (Woodstock Valley, Conn.) and Colt Green (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.) supplied two goals each. 

Andrew Aylwin (Topsfield, Mass.), Thomas Barker (Needham, Mass.)Ethan Cupples (Marshfield, Mass.)Stefano Fabiano (Wakefield, Mass.)Cam Fernandez (Mendham, N.J.)Travis Foster (Lyman, Maine)Brody MacDonald (Hanson, Mass.)Dom Maldari (Portsmouth, N.H.)Manny Marshall (Chelmsford, Mass.)Jack Matthews (Ayer, Mass.)Josh Newall (Shelton, Conn.)Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.)Derek Thompson (Avon, Conn.), and Matt Wright (Oregon City, Ore.) all added solo goals for the Blue and Green. 

Between the pipes, Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) and Christopher Tillotson (Monroe, Conn.) each made five saves in the triumph in 32 and 20 minutes of action. Daniel Burger (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) finished out the last 6:33 of the game keeping Curry off the scoreboard.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 31-2 all-time against Curry, including winners of the last 7 matchups.
  • The Gulls own a 6-1 record at The Nest in 2024.
  • The quintet of Fabiano, Matthews, Aylwin, Foster, and Maldari all potted their first goals of the season tonight.
  • As a team, Endicott went 31-37 at the faceoff "X" with Barker going 22-25, Foster winning five of six, and Zach Hojnowski (Somers, Conn.) adding four more face-off victories.

No. 18/20 Endicott (13-1, 6-0 CCC) ends its regular season on the road against Wentworth on Wednesday, April 24 at 4:00 PM. Curry (3-21, 1-5 CCC) hosts Gordon on Saturday, April 20 at 2:00 PM.
