KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today that a record 895 student-athletes from 335 colleges and university across NCAA Divisions I, II, and III as well as NAIA Division I or II were named to the NABC Honors Court for excelling in academics over the 2013-14 season. From Endicott, rising senior forwards Matt Kneece (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and Tell White (New Castle, N.H.) were among the seven representatives from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) to be recognized.

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men’s basketball welcome Gabriel, a five-year-old boy from Lynn, Massachusetts, to be a member of their 2014-15 squad as the Gulls officially signed Gabriel to their squad through the help of Team Impact, an organization dedicated to raising the quality of life for children that are facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Endicott men’s basketball season came to close on Saturday in the semifinal round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) as the #6 seed Gulls fell to the #2 seed Johnson & Wales (R.I.) 83-75. Endicott ends their 2013-14 campaign with an 18-10 overall record, increasing their win total by nine victories over the previous season.
CASTLETON, Vt. – The Endicott men’s basketball team played a fast-paced game against Castleton State in the quarterfinal round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Tournament and came out on top, 112-104, to move on to face the #2 seed Johnson & Wales on Saturday, March 8th in Providence, Rhode Island. Playing as the #6 seed in the tournament, Endicott upset the #3 Castleton State to reach the semifinals.
CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The Endicott men’s basketball team will make their first appearance in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Tournament since the 2006-07 season when they hit the road to take on North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opponent Castleton State as the #6 seed on Wednesday evening in Castleton, Vermont. Tip-off is currently scheduled for 7:30 pm.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Two of Endicott’s leading scorers were named to the All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men’s Basketball Team as junior guard John Henault (Lunenburg, Mass.) and graduate student guard Lachlan Magee (Melbourne, Australia) were voted by the league’s head coaches alongside some of the league’s best players. Henault, now a three-time All-CCC player, was named to the Second Team, while Magee collected his second All-CCC award with Third Team honors.
NEWPORT, R.I. – The Endicott men’s basketball team suffered a last-second defeat at the hands of Salve Regina in the CCC Quarterfinals, 77-76, on a single free throw with 0.8 seconds left in regulation as the Gulls saw their postseason run end. Endicott junior guard and All-CCC Second Teamer John Henault (Lunenburg, Mass.) scored a team-high 19 points but it was not enough as the Blue and Green fell dropped to 17-9.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Endicott men’s basketball had a glimmer of hope towards hosting a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Quarterfinal game next Tuesday, needing a win on Saturday and a Salve Regina loss, and despite taking care of Saturday opponent Western New England 69-60 the Gulls will have to travel for the first round of the conference playoffs.
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men’s basketball team celebrated Senior Night with an 85-67 victory over Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) rival Wentworth on Wednesday evening, rallying behind a 16-point game from graduate student guard Lachlan Magee (Melbourne, Australia) and another eight points and two assists from senior guard Greg Jacques (Brockton, Mass.).
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men’s basketball team halted a three-game losing skid by defeating Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opponent Curry for the second time this season by a score of 81-72 and improved their 2013-14 season record to 15-8 overall, 9-7 in-conference play. The Gulls were an efficient as an offensive unit, making 60.5% of their shots from the floor which included 4-of-5 three-point attempts and converting 25-of-34 (73.5%) free throw attempts.
DUDLEY, Mass. – Taking on the top team in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), the Endicott men’s basketball team struggled to get consistent offensive output as the Gulls lost 75-60 to Nichols on the road Wednesday night. After scoring just five points in the first half, Endicott guard Lachlan Magee (Melbourne, Australia) scored 16 points in the second half but with a 17-point halftime deficit, the Gulls were unable to mount a comeback.
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men’s basketball team held a seven point lead with 4:20 remaining in the second half, but Roger Williams stormed back and with just 10 seconds left took the lead on a Zac Campbell (Woodbridge, Conn.) layup as the Hawks upended the Gulls 78-76 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action.
NEWPORT, R.I. – Tuesday’s Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men’s basketball matchup between Endicott and Salve Regina was decided in the final minute of overtime as the Seahawks benefited from a three-pointer with 18 seconds left to help put away the Gulls 80-74. Endicott tied the game on a free throw by junior forward Andre Makris (Southbury, Conn.) near the end of regulation to force overtime, but Salve Regina’s Patrick Dinneen (Medfield, Mass.) three-pointer highlighted a 26-point night for the senior.
BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Endicott men’s basketball returned to their winning ways on Saturday, taking down Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opponent University of New England for the second time this season. The Gulls won 86-73 behind a 14-point, six-rebound, and five-assist effort from junior guard John Henault (Lunenburg, Mass.) and freshman forward Daquan Sampson’s (Germantown, Md.) sixth double-digit rebounding game of the season.
BEVERLY, Mass. – In front of a capacity crowd at Endicott’s MacDonald Gymnasium and taking on their crosstown and CCC rival Gordon, the Gulls men’s basketball dropped a tightly contested league game to the Scots 80-75. Gordon trailed by as many as eight points in the second half but rallied to take the lead with 3:32 remaining on a three-pointer by freshman Dominic Paradis (Rochester, N.H.) and pulled away with another clutch three by senior Luke Hamilton (Mount Airy, N.C.) with just 24 ticks left.

QUINCY, Mass. – Endicott men’s basketball dropped a 76-74 game to Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opponent Eastern Nazarene on Saturday afternoon as the Gulls wrapped up their regular season, two-game series with the Lions with a 1-1 split. BEVERLY, Mass. – In an 82-76 Endicott men’s basketball victory over Western New England, Gulls junior guard John Henault (Lunenburg, Mass.) became the 11th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points and just the third to reach the milestone in his junior season. Henault scored 17 points in the win, netting his 1,000th-point on the first of two free throw makes at 9:11 in the second half.

MILTON, Mass. – Fueled by freshman guard Max Motroni (West Warwick, R.I.), who scored nine of his team-high 19 points in the final 49 seconds of the second half including a go-ahead jumper to break a 77-77 tie, the Endicott men’s basketball team won their seventh straight game by a score of 86-82 over CCC defending champions Curry on the road.
BRISTOL, R.I. – The Endicott men’s basketball team ran their season-high win streak to six games, including their fourth straight CCC contest, following a 91-76 victory over Roger Williams on Thursday evening. The Gulls benefited from a double-double effort from freshman forward Daquan Sampson (Germantown, Md.) and a team-high 16 points from junior guard John Henault (Lunenburg, Mass.).
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott junior guard John Henault (Lunenburg, Mass.) returned to the court following a first half injury to score 19 of his game-high 26 points in the second period as the Gulls won a hard-fought CCC game with Salve Regina 87-76 at home to improve to 3-1 in league play. Henault hit six three-point baskets in the win, tying his career-high which was previous recorded back on February 25th, 2012 in an Endicott win in the CCC Championship.
