Lipscomb, Simoni Claim NEFC Weekly Honors For Second Straight Week

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior Chris Lipscomb (West Springfield, Mass.) and freshman Jesse Simoni (East Greenbush, N.Y.) have both earned New England Football Conference (NEFC) weekly honors for the second straight week for their performances in yesterday's game versus St. Lawrence. Lipscomb was named the Special Teams Player of the Week, while Simoni was tabbed the Defensive Rookie of the Week.

NEFC WEEKLY AWARD WINNERS

Lipscomb punted six times for 249 yards for an average of 41.5 yards per punt. One of Lipscomb's attempts tallied 60 yards, while three were planted inside the 20-yard line (including one at the one-yard line), and another went for a touchback in Endicott's 38-0 loss to St. Lawrence on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Simoni notched a career-high five tackles (four solo), a pair of pass breakups, and his first career interception which came in the right corner of the end zone with less than five minutes to play in the third quarter.

Bentz registered four tackles (two solo, two assisted), 1.5 sacks and forced a fumble in Endicott's 38-0 loss to St. Lawrence on Saturday.
