CCC WEEKLY RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's lacrosse student-athletes Meghan Dutchyshyn (Cheshire, Conn.), Bella Rino (Northborough, Mass.) and Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.) have all earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards for their efforts in games played from April 30 to May 6. Dutchyshyn was named the CCC Offensive Player of the Week, while Rino collected Defensive Player of the Week honors and Prisco earned Rookie of the Week accolades.

Last week, Dutchyshyn scored eight goals for Endicott during the CCC Championship Tournament as the Gulls captured their second straight title. She started the week with three goals in a decisive win over Salve Regina in the semifinals. She then contributed five goals to EC's 11-9 win over Roger Williams in the championship contest. Four of her five goals came in the second half with three of them answering Hawks scores to bring the game back to even. She scored the final goal of the contest with one minute remaining to seal the deal for the hosts.

Meanwhile, Rino was the winning goalie in both of Endicott's CCC Tournament wins. She made 10 stops in the Gulls semifinal against Salve Regina, while only surrendering three goals. She followed that up with an eight-save performance in the championship game. She posted a 6.00 goals against average and a 60.0 save percentage in the tournament.

Lastly, Prisco was a defensive force for Endicott in the CCC Championship Tournament. She recorded six ground balls, two draw controls, and three caused turnovers in the Gulls' 20-3 semifinal victory over Salve Regina. She continued to be a problem for opponents in the championship game against Roger Williams. She had four ground balls, five draw controls, and two caused turnovers in the title game. She also scored a goal in the 11-9 win.
