Hayes Named CCC Player Of The Week

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's ice hockey junior forward Emmerson Hayes (Los Angeles, Calif.) has earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week honors, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Last week for the Gulls, Hayes buried three goals to close out Endicott's regular season with a pair of CCC wins.

She scored her first goal of the week early in the first period of the Gulls' road contest against Nichols on Friday (Feb. 17). The score turned out to be the game-winner in the 3-0 victory.

Hayes then recorded two scores in her team's 6-1 win over Curry on Saturday (Feb. 18).

In addition to her three tallies, Hayes also finished with a plus-4 rating for the week.

This is Hayes' first career CCC Player of the Week award.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (16-7-2) hosts Western New England in the CCC Semifinals this Saturday, with time to be determined later this week.
