Men’s Cross Country Finishes Third At CCC Championship

BIDDEFORD, Maine —  The Endicott men's cross country team finished third overall at the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship on Saturday afternoon at Rotary Park.

Roger Williams took home the championship with a team score of 42 points.

Meanwhile, Suffolk (82), Endicott (85), Gordon (108), the University of New England (124), Wentworth (151), Nichols (157), Western New England (194), and Salve Regina (254) rounded out the rest of the field, in respective order.

The Gulls were highlighted by Connor Coffin (Scarborough, Maine), Caleb Nye (Hinesburg, Vt.), and Josh Lehmann (Gorham, Maine) as the trio earned CCC All-Conference honors for finishing top-15 in the entire field.

Coffin led the group with a runner-up performance on the 8-kilometer course (26:38.6, PR), while Nye and Lehmann were fourth (26:44.7) and seventh (26:53.3), respectively.

Cooper Downey (Hudson, N.H.) and Andrew Lauzon (North Andover, Mass.) rounded out Endicott's top-5 in 41st (29:04.7) and 48th (29:16.8) place.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott will compete at NCAA Division III East Regionals on Saturday, November 12 at 11 AM (hosted by Bowdoin College - Brunswick, Maine).
