2019 Men’s Cross Country Season Preview

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's cross country program opens up its 2019 season on Saturday, August 31 against crosstown rival Gordon College in the "Battle of the North Shore" in Wenham, Mass. at 11:15 AM. Here's what to look forward to for the upcoming season.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Endicott is 2-0 overall in the "Battle of the North Shore" against Gordon since the dual meet series was started in 2017.
  • For the second year in a row, Will Connelly (Barrington, R.I.), Adam Germaine (Guilford, Conn.), and Jack McGuire (Hopkinton, Mass.) will serve as captains for the squad.
  • The Blue and Green ranked fifth overall at last year's Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship.
  • Endicott's roster features 11 student-athletes from five different states.
  • The Gulls will host Eastern Nazarene, Emerson, Emmanuel, Mass. Maritime, Nichols, Regis, Salve Regina, and Wentworth in the Endicott Invitational on September 7 at Bradley Palmer State Park (11:45 AM).
