NECC ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's volleyball team saw four of its student-athletes earn a spot on the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by the organization earlier today.

Representing the Gulls on the list are Tim Fieseler (Bridgewater, N.J.), Nick Hayes (Salem, N.H.), Chad Riorden (Fairport, N.Y.), and Erich Roman (Glastonbury, Conn.).

In order to be eligible for NECC Academic All-Conference honors, a student-athlete must post a minimum grade point average of 3.40 on a scale of 4.00 and must be a sophomore or higher in class standings.

YEAR IN REVIEW

Endicott finished with a 13-3 overall record and 3-0 mark in NECC play before its season was canceled due to COVID-19.

Prior to the start of the season, the Gulls received their highest-ever national ranking at No. 4 overall on the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Preseason National Poll.

Endicott, who was also tabbed to win the NECC, ended its shortened season at No. 11 overall on the final AVCA Poll behind key victories against No. 4 Stevens (highest ever win against a nationally ranked opponent), MIT, No. 13 Wentworth, and No. 12 MSOE.
