Gulls Take Down UMass Dartmouth, 28-12

DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The Endicott men's rugby team earned its second victory of the season after defeating UMass Dartmouth last Saturday, 28-12.

In similar fashion, the Gulls had an array of scoring from various student-athletes throughout the match. Although the start of the second half presented a bit of adversity from the Corsairs, the Gulls were able to maintain their lead to the finish.

"We came out strong but lost a bit of pace in the second half," said Endicott head coach Dave Kenkel. "Glad to see the guys maintain composure though down the stretch. Also, for his strong tackling and excellent running, Chris Faust (Beverly, Mass.) was our Man of the Match!"

WHAT'S NEXT

Next Saturday, September 30th at 10am, the Gulls will take on the Golden Bears of Western New England University at Hempstead Stadium. In addition, Endicott will also be acknowledging the efforts and accomplishments of its senior student-athletes with a Senior Day ceremony prior to the kickoff.
