Glaser, Shanley Earn CCC Football Weekly Awards

CCC FOOTBALL WEEKLY RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott sophomore John Glaser (East Moriches, N.Y.) and freshman Riley Shanley (Simsbury, Conn.) have both earned Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) weekly awards, as announced by the league office earlier this morning. Glaser was named the CCC Football Special Teams Player of the Week, while Shanley collected Offensive Rookie of the Week honors for the fourth time this season.

In Endicott's 38-0 shutout victory over Becker on Saturday, Glaser was perfect in the kicking game as he scored eight points by converting his one field goal attempt, a 25-yarder, and all five extra point tries. He also produced 354 yards on seven kickoffs in the contest.

Meanwhile, Shanley made the most of his three receptions in the shutout over Becker. Two of Shanley's catches were for touchdowns, including one for eight yards and another for 18. In total Shanley had 31 yards on the day.
