GAMEDAY CENTRAL: Football Heads To Hobart For Non-Conference Clash

GAME PREVIEW INTERVIEW WITH COACH DEWALL

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott football team (1-2) will visit Hobart (2-1) on Saturday to play the Statesmen in a non-conference showdown at 12 PM. Here's a preview of Saturday's contest. 

NEED TO KNOW: Saturday's game will be the fourth meeting in the all-time series between the two programs. Hobart holds a 3-0 advantage in the series. Meanwhile, the last meeting between the two institutions saw Hobart record a 42-20 victory on September 10, 2016. 

ENDICOTT (STATS): The Gulls currently rank second in their conference in yards per game (373.3) and tackles per game (70.0), and are fourth in the conference in points per game (21.7). 

HOBART (STATS): Hobart enters the weekend in first place in its conference (Liberty League) in total yards per game (422.7), and second in points per game (35.7) and rushing yards per game (202.3). Earlier this week, the Statesmen offensive line also was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, after recording a season-high 517 offensive yards on September 16 during a 56-30 victory over Shenandoah. 

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott hosts Husson on September 30, with kickoff slated for 12 PM. Hobart opens Liberty League play at Ithaca on September 30 at 1 PM.
