Equestrian Ranks Third At Bentley Show

BOLTON, Mass. — The Endicott equestrian team finished third overall out of eight programs at the Bentley University Show on Sunday evening at Century Mill Stables.

Emily Bocklet (Cross River, N.Y.) headlined the Gulls as she pointed out of limit over fences with a third place finish to qualify for Regionals.

Emily Toupin (Oakham, Mass.) also finished first overall in novice.

"I am very proud of our Gulls' rides today! We had strong riding all day, with lots of top ribbons," said Endicott equestrian head coach Megan Martin. "Our student-athletes are really putting the work in at home and the results are shining through in the show ring!"

OTHER SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

  • Rachel Wells (Colchester, Conn.) and Grace Catalanotti (Brookline, N.H.) posted runner-up performances in novice.
  • Helen Barrow (Swanton, Vt.) ranked third in open over fences and fourth in open flat.
  • The Gulls also saw Riley Miller (Acton, Mass.) and Sophia Channell (Vergennes, Vt.) placed third overall in limit over fences and limit flat, respectively.
  • Channell added a fourth place finish in intermediate over fences to her ledger on the day.
  • Hope Forcellina (South Windsor, Conn.) came in fifth place in intermediate flat.
  • Lucia Taylor (Lyme, N.H.) and Lindsey Nygren (Gorham, Maine) were fifth in limit flat and introductory.

The Endicott Home Show is scheduled for Saturday, November 5 at Turning Point Show Stables (East Kingston, N.H.).
