Cheerleading Makes Program History At NCA Collegiate Championships

RESULTS

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Endicott cheerleading program placed third overall in the Division III Advanced All-Girl Finals at the 2022 National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate National Championships earlier today. The third place finish marks the highest ranking ever for the program at the famous Bandshell.

Endicott placed third overall behind program record scores in prelims (91.6852) and finals (91.1436).

"Despite every adverse situation this team faced this season, our Gulls persevered through each one with grace and excellence. This team showcased a dedication and passion to their sport, and, more importantly, one another as teammates that have never truly been matched in the history of the program," said Endicott cheer head coach Emily Dellisola '20. "These girls did amazing this week at Nationals, and all season, and I am so incredibly proud to have had the honor to coach such a talented group for my first year. We were less than half a point from second place and with that being said, we already know what needs to happen to come back bigger, better, and stronger."

This is the first time the Gulls have competed in Daytona Beach, Florida due to COVID. Last season, Endicott ranked third in the Virtual Advanced All-Girl Open Finals, while, in 2019, the program ranked seventh overall in its last appearance at the Bandshell.
