  • Bryan Haley Announces Fall Baseball Clinic Date For October 11

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott baseball head coach Bryan Haley will be hosting a prospect clinic on Sunday, October 11 for high school students entering their junior and senior years in the fall of 2015. The clinic will emphasize the development of all baseball fundamentals, as every participant will go through an instructional period and skills showcase early in the day, followed by game competition in the afternoon. This is a great opportunity to learn from, meet, and be evaluated by the Endicott College baseball staff.

  • Nick Quattro Placed on ECAC New England First Team

    DANBURY, Conn. – Endicott rising senior pitcher Nick Quattro (Canton, Conn.) collected one final postseason award for his breakout campaign this past spring as he was named to the ECAC Division III New England All-Star First Team. This is Quattro’s fourth all-region honor as he has been previously recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), D3Baseball.com, and the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA).

    GREENSBORO, N.C. – Junior Nick Quattro (Canton, Conn.) and JJ Branch (Milford, Mass.) received additional all-region accolade this week as both pitchers were named to the ABCA/Rawlings Division III All-New England Team. Quattro was placed on the First Team along with Pitcher of the Year Andrew Richards from Southern Maine as well as two other pitchers while Branch earned a spot on the Third Team.

    FAIRBANKS, Alaska – Junior ace JJ Branch (Milford, Mass.) and junior reliever Nick Quattro (Canton, Conn.) both earned a spot on the D3Baseball.com All-New England Second Team after leading the Gulls to a 26-17 record in 2015. Branch is now a two-time D3Baseball all-region player after collecting First Team honors in 2014 while Quattro, the 2015 CCC Pitcher of the Year, earns his first All-New England nod.
  • Gulls Take Two From Suffolk To Improve to 26-17 on the Season

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Looking to improve their chances at earning a NCAA DIII Tournament at-large bid, the Endicott baseball team played host to GNAC winners Suffolk on Saturday for a double header. The Gulls entered the game having defeated NEWMAC winner MIT 6-2 on Tuesday behind 6.2 strong innings from JJ Branch (Milford, Mass.) and a 2.1 inning save from CCC Pitcher of the Year Nick Quattro (Canton, Conn.). The Gulls would claim two wins on the day, improving their season record to 26-17 while the Rams fell to 18-24. Endicott now awaits the NCAA DIII Tournament release late on Sunday to see if they have received an at-large bid.

  • Top-Seeded Endicott Falls to Roger Williams To End CCC Title Run

    BEVERLY, Mass.- Looking to three-peat as Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) champions, top-seeded Endicott was knocked out of the tournament by Roger Williams in extra innings by a score of 5-4. With the loss, Endicott falls to 23-17 on the season and travels to MIT on Tuesday night for a single game as the Gulls await their postseason fate. With the win, Roger Williams improves to 17-19 on the year and will take on Salve Regina at 3:00 p.m. with the winner advancing to face Curry in the CCC Championship.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The two-time defending CCC champion Endicott baseball team survived their first elimination game of the conference tournament on Friday by defeating the #2 seed Western New England 1-0 at North Field behind a combined shutout effort from starter Davarn Nova (Buzzards Bay, Mass.) and reliever Nick Quattro (Canton, Conn.).

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The two-time defending CCC champion Endicott baseball team will have their backs against the wall for the remainder of the conference tournament after suffering a 2-0 loss to the #6 seed Salve Regina in the opening game of the CCC Tournament. The double elimination tournament continues on Friday, May 1st when the top seed Endicott (22-16) hosts #2 Western New England (18-17) for a 4:00 p.m. first pitch.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior right-handed reliever Nick Quattro (Canton, Conn.) headlined a group of five Endicott players who were recognized on the 2015 All-CCC Baseball Teams with Pitcher of the Year and All-CCC First Team honors as it was announced today by league commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Quattro becomes the fourth different Endicott pitcher in the past five seasons to earn the CCC Pitcher of the Year award, joining current teammate JJ Branch (Milford, Mass.), former teammate Tyler Hitchcock ’13, and Benjamin Petrides ’11.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – After posting a 12-4 record against CCC opponents during the 2015 regular season, the Endicott baseball team has been awarded the top seed in this week’s conference tournament which is set to begin play on Thursday, April 30th. Endicott’s first opponent in the double elimination tournament will be the #6 seed Salve Regina (21-14, 8-8 CCC) on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at North Field.

    BROCKTON, Mass. – The Endicott baseball team, with three walk-off wins to their credit in 2015 including two in the past week, were the victims of a two-out, two-run homerun by UMass Boston junior first baseman Daniel Bonito (Swampscott, Mass.) in the bottom of the ninth that lifted the Beacons to an 8-7 victory over the Gulls at Campanelli Stadium Monday evening.
  • Endicott and UMass Dartmouth Split a Pair of Extra-Inning Affairs

    BEVERLY, Mass. – In a matchup between New England’s fourth-ranked Endicott and 10th-ranked UMass Dartmouth, according to the most recent NCAA regional poll, the Gulls and Corsairs spilt a pair of extra-inning affairs at North Field on Sunday afternoon. Endicott (22-14) captured game one 4-3 in 11 innings thanks to a walk-off hit by freshman shortstop Nick Berno (St. Albans, Vt.) while UMD (19-13) got a nine-inning gem from junior lefty Aaron Chouinard (Swansea, Mass.) to take game two 4-3.

    BRISTOL, R.I. – Endicott baseball split their final CCC doubleheader of the regular season and in the process solidified their position atop the conference with a 12-4 league record. The Gulls will be named the top seed in next week’s CCC Tournament for the second straight season after their 3-0 game one win clinched their playoff standing.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Down to their last out in the bottom of the 11th inning and trailing Wheaton, the fourth-ranked team in New England, by one run Endicott senior captain Harry Oringer (Dartmouth, Mass.) sent 1-2 offering deep over the wall in left for a two-run shot to deliver a 3-2 walk-off, extra-innings victory for the Gulls on Tuesday afternoon.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior Michael Cahill (Plymouth, Mass.) helped the Gulls walk-off with a 5-4 win in game one of a conference doubleheader with Curry while Colonels sophomore Brian Burke (Swampscott, Mass.) pitched a complete game in a 2-1 game two victory to salvage a spilt on Sunday afternoon.

    LEWISTON, Maine – The Endicott bats came alive in a 22-8 non-conference win over NESCAC opponent Bates on Saturday afternoon as the Gulls produced 22 runs on 22 hits as every member of the Gulls starting lineup scored a run and recorded a hit off Bates pitching. Gulls catcher Josh Drew (Intervale, N.H.) had his second career four-hit game as the junior finished 4-for-6 with four runs scored and two RBI.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – A complete-game by Salem State starter Andrew McLaughlin (Peabody, Mass.) and four costly errors by Endicott’s defense told the story of a Gulls 4-2 loss to Salem State on Thursday afternoon as the two teams split their 2015 regular season, home-and-home series. Endicott had previous beaten Salem State 9-4 back on April 9th on the road.
  • Top-Five New England Matchup Sees Endicott Defeat Southern Maine in Extras

    GORHAM, Maine – Facing a regionally and nationally ranked Southern Maine squad for the second tiem this season, this time on a seven-game winning streak, New England’s fifth-ranked Endicott baseball team beat the Huskies in 11 innings on a RBI single by junior right fielder Matthew Paola (Middlebury, Conn.) that brought home senior captain Harry Oringer (Dartmouth, Mass.) for the go-ahead run.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – A seventh inning double to left by sophomore outfielder Scott Betts (Peabody, Mass.) helped deliver a 2-1 win for Saint Joseph’s (Maine) over Endicott at North Field Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action. The Gulls got six solid innings from junior righty JJ Branch (Milford, Mass.) before back-to-back doubles by Monks sophomore designated hitter Dan Donovan (Lynn, Mass.) and Betts to start the top of the seventh generated the go-ahead run.

The Gulls host Saint Joseph’s (Me.) on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. for non-conference action before traveling to #21/26 Southern Maine for the second game of a home and home doubleheader.

    WENHAM, Mass. – A three-run homerun and four total RBIs from sophomore third baseman Mike Kochiss (Fairfield, Conn.) as well as sophomore lefty Luke Morse’s (Westford, Mass.) second straight victory on the mound helped Endicott secure a 13-0 win over Gordon in game one of a CCC doubleheader before the Scots responded by winning game two 4-1.

    SALEM, Mass. – The Endicott baseball team won their sixth straight game to remain undefeated in the month of April (6-0) with a 9-4 triumph over Salem State at Alumni Field Thursday afternoon. Endicott, ranked sixth in the most recent NEIBA regional poll, improved to 14-7 overall while the fifth-ranked Vikings fell to 12-7.

Poland effort was part of a 4-1 week for the Gulls that included doubleheader sweeps of both the Leopards and Nichols.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott remained undefeated in the CCC baseball standings at 8-0 after winning both games of a conference doubleheader with league opponent Nichols, taking game one 13-5 behind an offensive outburst in the middle innings and game two 4-0 as freshman starter Owen Bautze (Sudbury, Mass.) shutout the Bison over seven complete innings.

The Gulls are the first team in the CCC with 10 wins as they now sport a 10-7 overall record.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – In a matchup of New England’s sixth and seventh ranked teams, the Endicott baseball team was edged 5-4 by Eastern Connecticut State at North Field on Tuesday afternoon. A two-run blast in the top of the fifth off the bat of Warriors third baseman Chad Adams (Ware, Mass.) proved to be the difference-maker as the Gulls dropped to 8-7 with the non-conference home loss.
