SPRINGFIELD, MA - Kelsey Conn (Batavia, NY/Elba) was named The Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week after she placed seventh among 229 runners at Gordon's Pop Crowell Invitational on Saturday.

Conn turned in a 5,000 meter time of 19:14 and posted her second top-10 finish of the year. The freshman has been the Gulls top runner this season placing first for the Gulls in all three of their meets this season. Conn was also named TCCC Runner of the Week after she won the UNE Invitational on September 8.

The Blue and Green return to the trails on Saturday when they head to Colt State Park in Bristol, R.I. for a meet hosted by TCCC rival Roger Williams University.
