Completed an internship as a teacher's aid at Pine Grove Elementary School in Avon, Conn. Hopes to one day become a special education teacher

Community Service 

Was a tutor for three years in high school, and volunteered at a local food pantry and soup kitchen. She also volunteered at an after-school program for inner-city kids
