Men's Results

DARTMOUTH, MA - Kelsey Conn (Batavia, NY/Elba) and Ryan Darmody (Portsmouth, RI/Portsmouth) led the Endicott College men's and women's cross country teams to break out races at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth Invitational.

Conn, the reigning TCCC Runner of the Week, posted the highest finish of any Endicott runner on the day as she crossed the line in 25th place with a time of 19:10. Conn's finishing time was the best by any TCCC runner in the race.

On the men's side it was once again Darmody that led the Gulls as he chopped more than four minutes off his time at the UNE Invitational crossing the line in 30:25 good enough for 171st place in the 225 man race.

Paced by Conn's impressive performance the Gull women raced two a 17th place finish as Nicole Prokop (Montgomery, MA/Gateway Regional) followed Conn to the finish in 73rd place in a time of 20:06. Heather Hauser (Somersworth, NH/Somersworth) ran 21:49 to finish third for the Gulls while Jackie Collier (Swampscott, MA/Bishop Fenwick) and Lynn Gallagher (Lowell, MA/Lowell) rounded out the scoring for the Blue and Green.

Sam Turner (Portland, ME/Deering) was once again nipping at the hells of his senior captain finishing just eight spots behind Darmody in 30:43, also taking four minutes off his previous best this season. Brandon Mitchell (Chelmsford, MA/Chelmsford) had a strong day for the Gulls coming across the line in 30:46 just behind Turner, while Steven Bouchard (Saratoga, NY/Saratoga) and Michael Macisso (Portland, ME/Portland) rounded out the scoring for the Endicott men.

The Blue and Green will enjoy two weeks of uninterrupted training before returning to the trails to race. Endicott returns to action on Saturday September 29 when the Gulls will head down the road to rival Gordon College for the Pop Crowell Invitational.
