Endicott Races at UMD Shriner Invitational

DARTMOUTH, MA - Nicole Prokop (Montgomery, MA/Gateway Reg.) once again led the way for the Gulls as she was EC's top finisher at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth Shriners Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.

Prokop finished in 87th place with a time of 20:51 in the highly competitive meet. Kathleen Lascelles (York, ME/York) was the second finisher for the Gulls as she crossed the line in 23:36 for 146th place, while Katie Fitch (Rochester, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) was hot on her heels finishing 148th just one second behind Lascelles at 23:37.

Lynn Gallagher (Lowell, MA/Lowell), Angelique Baillargeon (Exeter, NH/Exeter), and Kim Ferro (Methuen, MA/Methuen) rounded out the scoring for EC. The Gulls finished 24th out of 33 teams with 717 points.

On the men's side it was Ryan Darmody (Portsmouth, RI/Portsmouth) and David Le (Marblehead, MA/Marblehead) that led the way for Endicott. Only four seconds separated the duo as they finished 161st and 162nd in 32:38 and 32:42, respectively. New addition Steve Bouchard (Saratoga, NY) helped create a strong pack for the Gulls as he was their third finisher in 165th, crossing the line in 33:17.

Rounding out Endicott's top five were Ryan Slobin (Old Saybrook, CT/Old Saybrook) (176, 35:15), Jon and Matt Harkins (Hollis, NH/Bishop Guertin) finishing 182 and 183 respectively.

Endicott will next travel down street to Gordon College for the Pop Crowell Invitation, were they will toe the line with a number of Conference Rivals.
