Men's Soccer Ties Bates, 1-1

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw against Bates in non-conference action on Monday night at Hempstead Stadium.

Outstanding defensive efforts by both schools had the score deadlocked at zero until Ryan Gerry (Durham, Conn.) found the back of the net right before the end of the first half (44:01) to give the Gulls a 1-0 lead.

Shortly after, the Bobcats responded with a tally of their own just 44-seconds later to knot the game at one-all before the break

From there, both teams continued to put the clamps on each other for the remainder of the match resulting in a 1-1 draw.
