D3HOCKEY.COM POLL | USCHO.COM POLL

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's ice hockey team earned its highest national ranking in program history with the announcement of D3hockey.com's national poll earlier today. Endicott's No. 5 ranking via D3hockey.com marks the highest ranking for the Gulls on either national poll (D3hockey.com or USCHO.com) in the three-year of the history of the program and the highest ranking ever for any program in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).

So far this season, Endicott is off to 9-1-0 (8-0-0 CCC) start and has won nine games in a row outscoring opponents 63-17 during that stretch. The Gulls currently rank first among all NCAA Division III programs in scoring offense (6.50 goals per game) and scoring margin (6.50 GF/G vs. 2.00 GA/G, 4.50 margin). Endicott also is No. 14 (tied) in scoring defense (2.00 G/GM), No. 17 on the power play (9-for-39, one shorthanded goal, 23.1%), No. 9 on the penalty kill (45-for-50, 90.0%), and No. 5 in combined special teams (54-for-89, 60.7%).

Meanwhile, Endicott's team winning percentage of .900 ranks fourth in the country and its nine-game unbeaten streak is second behind No. 1 nationally ranked (both polls) St. Norbert.

The Gulls also were ranked No. 6 in the latest USCHO.com poll earlier today. That ranking is tied for the highest ranking in the USCHO.com poll in program history (three times).
