South Portland,ME--Playing on a challenging Sable Oaks Golf Course, Endicott placed 6th out of 9 teams over the course of the two day match. After the first round, the Gulls had a combined team score of 332. Endicott had a strong showing despite some very difficult weather conditions on the second day of play. At the conclusion of the tournament EC finished with an overall score of 665.
Leading the team was Kenny Dargon who shot an 81 both days and finished with a score of 162. Only two strokes behind Dargon, was Brian Gill who recorded an 80 on Monday, and an 84 on Tuesday. Also contributing to the Gulls 6th place finish were Matt Davis with an overall score of 166 (83,83), Matt Barnes with a score of 173 (88,85) and Alex Lawner with a total of 181 (92, 89).
The next stop for the Gulls is Gordon College, where they will defend last years Ambassador Cup win. The 3rd Annual Tournament will be held at the Bradford Country Club.
