Joseph T. Danielson enters his second season as an assistant coach with the Endicott football program in 2017-18.

Danielson joined the Endicott coaching staff after a standout playing/student assistant coaching career at the University of Connecticut (UConn), a NCAA Division I FBS school.

During his time in Storrs, Conn. with the Huskies, Danielson was named a starter at right guard in 2012 after serving on the second string of the offensive line in 2011 at three positions (right guard, left guard, and center). Due to an injury late in the 2012 season, Danielson became a member of UConn's coaching staff as a student assistant with the offensive line. Danielson excelled in this role and by doing so earned several other responsibilities with the program, including working with both the freshmen and starting offensive lines, the starting defensive line, the offensive scout team, the program's graduate assistant staff, and the recruitment of future potential student-athletes for UConn.

Danielson graduated from UConn in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Resource Economics, which focused on business management, project management, and communications.
