Gulls compete in two weekend shows

BEVERLY, Mass. - The Endicott College equestrian team finished their regular season by finishing fourth at the Stonehill-Weston IHSA Horse Show held on Saturday at Drywater Farm. The following day, Endicott hosted the Regional Finals for Zone 1, Region 4. The Gulls had two riders qualify for Zone Finals and finished in sixth place overall for the season.

Endicott had four riders capture second place finishes during the Stonehill-Weston IHSA Horse Show on Saturday including sophomore Katherine Noyes in Intermediate Fences, freshman Kim Davis in Walk-Trot, sophomore Elizabeth Browning in Advanced Walk-Trot-Canter, and freshman Susan Lunt in Novice Flat. Katherine Noyes and Elizabeth Browning both qualified for Regional Finals by pointing out in Intermediate Fences and Advanced Walk-Trot-Canter, respectively.

Endicott hosted the Regional Finals for Zone 1, Region 4 on Sunday at Springtide Farm in Boxford, Mass. In order to qualify for the Zone Finals, riders would have to finish in the top two of their division at the show. Senior Chelsea Conant and sophomore Kate Selig both rode well and successfully qualified for Zone Finals. Conant finished second in Intermediate Flat, while Selig was second in Novice Fences. Katherine Noyes also had a strong showing, falling just short of qualifying, while finishing third in Intermediate Flat.

Conant and Selig with both compete in the Zone Finals hosted by Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass on Saturday, April 5th.
