Endicott Dance shines at New England Dance Championships
WESTFIELD, Mass. - The Endicott College Dance Team took 1st Place in Pom, 4th Place in Jazz, and won “Best Choreography” of the entire competition at the New England Dance Championships last Sunday at Westfield State University's Woodward Center.  The competition was hosted by the Universal Dance Association.

At this year’s competition, the Jazz and Pom category was comprised of Division 1, 2, and 3 schools from New England and New York. Endicott’s Dance Team took the floor first in the division with grace and dignity, hoping to take the title for the second year in-a-row.

After finishing their routine beautifully, it became time to focus on their Pom routine, which was to be competed shortly after the Jazz category. Endicott dancers were focused and ready to take the floor again. The strength and complexity of their routine made the audience roar as they had performed another great routine.

After all other teams competed, it became time for awards.  Endicott’s Dance Team placed 4th overall in Jazz, 1st overall in Pom, and won “Best Choreography” of the entire competition.

All of the students and coaches are extremely happy with their performances and results of this event!  Endicott now holds 1st place in Pom and 2nd place in Jazz for Division II and III Colleges throughout New England.
