Crew Takes Part In The Quinsigamond Snake Regatta Over The Weekend

WORCESTER, Mass. – Last Saturday, the Endicott crew team competed in its second regatta of the season. Throughout the day, the Gulls matched up against various schools in the Women's Varsity 4, Men's Varsity 4, and Women's Novice 8. 

The Women's Varsity 4 consisted of two squads, finishing 12th (18:28:224) and 22nd (23:35:135) overall. Endicott's first lineup consisted of Brenna Shanahan (Shelton, Conn.) at stroke, Genna Landy (Great Falls, Va.) at the 3-seat, Kendra Kirby (Redding, Conn.) at the 2-seat, Sarah Burola (Albany, N.Y.) at the bow, and Tess Bundt (Milford, N.J.) at coxswain. Meanwhile, the second group included Kayla Whitcher (Strafford, N.H.) at stroke, Rachele Stein (Washington, D.C.) at the 3-seat, Lindsey Hagerstrom (Amherst, N.H.) at the 2-seat, MaryAnn Samson (Bainbridge Island, Wash.) at the bow, and Alexxa Dussault (Leominster, Mass.) at coxswain.

Moreover, the Men's Varsity 4 was able to place 15th (16:19:686). Their lineup involved Quinn Simek (Kingston, N.Y.) at stroke, James Donovan (Newburyport, Mass.) at the 3-seat, Benjamin Zorfas (Waban, Mass.) at the 2-seat, Addison Culupa (Jericho, Vt.) at the bow, and Joshua Muir (Milton, Vt.) at coxswain.

And finally, the Women's Novice 8 finished their race in 5th place (21:30:53). The roster involved MaryAnn Samson (Bainbridge Island, Wash.), Madison Bryda (Nassau, N.Y.), Alyssa Cabral (Hudson, Mass.), Emma Roca (Trumbull, Conn.), Emmaline Boisvert (Nashua, N.H.), Lindsey Hagerstrom (Amherst, N.H.), Molly Atzbach (Manchester, Conn.), Kayla Whitcher (Strafford, N.H.), and Dussault at coxswain.
