Gulls snap skid with 4-1 win over Bryant
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott College club ice hockey team snapped a four-game losing streak with a 4-1 victory over Bryant University on Saturday night in Hamilton, Mass. The Gulls improve to 4-6 this season and 2-2 in the NECHA. Endicott’s Rob DiNicola (Wolcott, Conn.) netted a pair of scores in the victory over the Bulldogs.

DiNicola tallied his first score of the game at the 12:22 mark of the first period off feeds from Gregory Szkop (New Britain, Conn.) and Kevin Bunting (Plantsville, Conn.) for a 1-0 lead. The Gulls would extend their lead to 2-0 when Jared Garceau (Guilford, Conn.) found DiNicola for his second goal of the game, 1:15 into the second period.

The Gulls would tack on one more in the second from Matthew Zimmerman (South Glastonbury, Conn.) while Andrew Lamont (Kennebunk, Maine) added a goal in the third for the 4-0 lead. Bryant’s Patrick Graydon spoiled Endicott’s shutout bid with his goal at the 5:31 mark of the third period.

Ryan Fullerton (Saunderstown, R.I.) picked up the win in goal for Endicott while Mark Donahue suffered the setback for the Bulldogs.

Endicott hosts Western Connecticut State on Saturday night at the Pingree School in Hamilton, Mass. at 7:30 p.m.
