The Endicott Cheer team competed in Daytona Beach, Florida over the weekend at the National Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championships. The 2 day competition featured the top cheerleading teams in the country.

At the end of day one the Gulls had earned a spot in the finals after placing 7th out of 19 teams in the All-Girl Division III category. Endicott placed ahead of Curry College, Worcester State College and Illinois Wesleyan University to name a few.

Day 2 of the competition took place outside at the Band Shell overlooking Daytona Beach, thousands of spectators enjoyed the beautiful day and the Gulls performance as they earned a 9th place finish in the finals edging out New York University for a top ten finish.

The National competition concludes a successful season for Endicott Cheerleading. Try-outs for next year's squad will be held Saturday, May 2nd from 10am-3pm in the Post Center field house.
