Professional Aspirations

Completed an internship with in November 2015 at Newington High School in the School Psychology and Special Education Department where she attended team meetings, PPT's, 504 meetings and special education classes, tutored special education students, provided assistance to faculty when monitoring students.... Also interned with the Solnit Psychiatric Center for Children in January 2014 where she shadowed clinicians, social workers and doctors; attended intake meetings, psych evaluations and team meetings... Aspires to have her Ph.D in clinical psychology and work in a hospital setting

"Both internships have greatly helped me narrow down what I want to do and where I want to be. I have decided that I do not like working in the school psychology role and I want to work clinically with children."
