Nick Radkewich enters the second season as head coach of the men's and women's cross country programs in the 2014-15 academic year.

“Coach Radkewich brings a level of enthusiasm and professionalism that immediately elevates both of our programs,” stated Wylie.  “As a former Division I runner at Notre Dame, he truly understands the importance of academics coupled with the hard work necessary to compete at the highest level. With his professional experience as a runner and coach, the teams will instantly benefit both on the course and in the classroom.  Coach Radkewich brings a level of experience tethered to cross country that we have never before had at Endicott.  I’m confident that his knowledge and achievements will guide our programs to the next level.”

"Endicott is a school at which I am confident in knowing the athletes are dedicated and serious about their training," said Radkewich. "The teams are both close to getting to that next level and I am thrilled to be part of the next step."

Having received his certification as a USA Track & Field Registered Level 1 Coach and having been accepted into the USA Track & Field Level 2 stage, his coaching background is substantial.  Radkewich also is a USA Triathlon Level 1 Coach, U.S. Olympians.  Over the past two years, Coach Radkewich served as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Rivier University in Nashua, N.H.  His team’s completed their most successful season in over a decade as they won Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women’s Rookie of the Week twice, one Male Runner of the Week, had male and female overall invitational winners and the women won two team titles.  Coach Radkewich also has served as a manager with the Elite Triathlon Academy (ETA) in Colorado Springs, Colo.  In this role, he mentored and the developed the athletes through the rigors of elite triathlon training and adaptation to life as an Olympian hopeful. 

Perhaps even more impressive than his professional career is his athletic career.  Radkewich is a former Olympian having run as a triathlete for the United States in the 2000 Olympics.  A former IronKids National Champion in 1985, he went on to receive the 1990 US Age Group National Champion & US Junior National Champion, the 1998 US Olympic Format Elite Champion, USA Triathlon Elite Athlete of the Year & US Olympic Committee Triathlete of the Year and also represented the U.S. in the Goodwill Games twice, having placed 5th in one of those appearances. 

A 1993 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Radkewich went on to obtain his Masters of Science, Sports & Recreation Management-Coaching in 2010 from New England College.
