John Davis enters his third year as an assistant coach with the men's and women's cross country programs at Endicott in 2017-18.

Davis, who also coaches the boys' track and field program at nearby Danvers, is a 2011 graduate of Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y.

As a member of the Bombers' cross country program, Davis capped his senior year by earning NCAA Division III All-Region honors at the 2010 NCAA Atlantic Region Championships with a then-season-best time of 25:37.70 (22nd overall). Davis also led his team to the Empire 8 Cross Country Championship title with a first place finish on the 8-kilometer course at Saratoga Spa State Park with a time of 25 minutes and 48 seconds. For his efforts, Davis was named the Empire 8 Runner of the Meet.

On the track for Ithaca, Davis claimed the 3,000-meter steeplechase title at the 2011 Empire 8 Championships with a time of 9:52.17. 

Davis served as a team captain for all three programs - cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track - earned three Empire 8 All-Conference accolades (two cross country, one track), and graduated with an environmental studies degree from Ithaca.
