Why Endicott? Why Division III?

I chose Endicott because I felt like it was a great opportunity to get a great education, be introduced to my field through networking and internships and to play the sport I love at the college level.

Career Summary

2017: Sophomore season at Endicott... appeared in 21 matches (37 sets)... notched 53 kills (1.43 k/s), a .243 hitting percentage, four service aces, 43 digs, 16 block solos, 78 block assists, and 94 total blocks (0.96 b/s)... collected 12 kills, 19 digs and four blocks in playoff matches including 11 digs total in the NCAA Tournament versus No. 7 Stevens

2016: Freshman season at Endicott... played in 23 matches (60 sets)... logged 33 kills, two assists, three service aces, 58 digs, 18 blocks (one solo, 17 assist)... picked up his first kill of his collegiate career against nationally ranked Springfield on January 22

Professional Aspirations

Aspires to work in the biotechnical industry and will be pursuing an internship in that field this coming summer... completed his first internship at DePuy Synthes -- Joint Reconstruction observing medical device sales representatives from June 13th through July 29th... worked mainly in the office dealing with returns, assembly of device tool kits, and organizational packing of the implant totes for the future use of sales representatives... is scheduled to work full-time for DePuy Synthes during the upcoming summer as well as obtaining a similar internship with a different company... in 10 years, sees himself as a successful medical device sales rep always on the look for the latest technology, while thinking about new ideas for devices that could make an enormous impact on the current society. 

Seth on his favorite internship experience:

"I was blessed with the opportunity to witness an ACL reconstruction case surgery in the O.R. and observe the objectives and interactions between the sales reps and the surgeons. I am interested in technology and this experience enabled me to learn about how new tools are used for different procedures."

Community Service

Worked with Miracle League as a volunteer, with Pennies for Cancer Patients, fed the homeless at Ozanam Inn, and with KidCam as a summer counselor in 2013.

Seth on his favorite community service to date:

"During my first time volunteering for Miracle League, I had the pleasure of spending the season with my little buddy named Matthew who had down-syndrome. As the season progressed, we got very close and it the end of our time together, I gave him a framed picture of us for him to remember our friendship by."

Fun Facts

Hobbies include choral singing, playing guitar, juggling and skim boarding... father Stephen played basketball at Delgado College and rugby at Louisiana Lafayette... enjoys traveling and even being a tourist in his home state of Louisiana and his home city of New Orleans... minoring in biology
