Stephen Fama M'23 enters his first season as an assistant coach with the men's basketball program in 2023-24.

Fama joins the coaching staff after his two-year playing career with the Gulls, which spanned over the 2021-22 and '22-23 seasons. He is a three-time member of the CCC Academic All-Conference list (2021-22, 2022, 2022-23), a two-time CSC Academic All-District First Team Member (2021-22, 2022-23), and was a constant leadership presence on the court for the Gulls. His career averages consisted of 5.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.5 steals. The Gulls posted an overall record of 30-21 during Fama's two years with the program, and 22-14 in conference play.

The Lynn, Mass. native came to Endicott after graduating Summa Cum Laude in just three years from New England College in 2021. Along with his basketball career, Fama also was a member of the baseball team for the Pilgrims, contributing to each of those teams with his leadership presence. On the court with New England, he averaged 7.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists. On the baseball field, the outfielder posted a career batting average of .333 and a slugging percentage of .500 in eight games played. He was also a three-time member of the Academic All-Conference list during his years with New England.

Over his career between both New England College and Endicott, Fama scored a total of 678 points, secured 548 rebounds, swiped 71 steals, and dished out 93 assists. His impact was ever present with all three teams he suited up for, leading by example along the way.

Fama graduated from New England College with a Bachelor's of and received his Master's in Sport Leadership from Endicott in 2023.
