In high school, she volunteered with Best Buddies where she interacted with students with special needs throughout the year... Also volunteered with Peer Leadership where sghe organized charities like Light Up a Life which provided families in need with a happy holiday season... Served as a Peer Mentor to a group of freshman every school year throughout the academic year... Volunteered at YMCA Social Events... Assisted at youth field hockey practices

"I created a small charity for my best friend with Crohn's Disease and sold bracelets to support 'Alyssa's Army'."
