Why Endicott? Why Division III?

I chose to go to Endicott because it is a one of a kind school, the campus is beautiful year round, the internship program gives you a head start when applying for jobs, and of course the football team!

Awards

  • Named All-Conference by the ECC for three straight years while at Norwich Free Academy
  • Co-Most Valuable Player senior year

Career Summary

2015: Played in six games during his junior season at Endicott... registered two kick returns for 21 yards, and two tackles (one solo, one assisted)

2014: Appeared in one game in his sophomore season, making a tackle in a win over Curry 

Professional Aspirations

Ryer's first internship during winter break as a freshman was at MRY, a global digital marketing and technology agency based out of Manhatten where he worked mostly in the public relations department contacting the student-ambassadors for Spotify, Adobe, and other companies to make sure they received their gifts and swag...his second internship was at Consumers Interstate Corporation which is a large business supplies distributor out of Norwich, Conn. Ryer wrote category descriptions for the products, learned how to use code and put keywords into the description so when people search for a certain product the website is among the first to pop up on Google...through his internship experiences, Ryer has become a better writer and improved his organizational skills

Ryer is looking to obtain his next internship in the field of sport marketing, something that combines his marketing skills with his passion for sport. He aspires to one day live in New York City and work for the Yankees marketing department.

Community Service

At Endicott, Ryer and his football teammates helped the Beverly community by going to various homes to help clean their lawn, mulch, move furniture in or out, and pick up trash...in high school, he helped at a local soup kitchen preparing food for the less fortunate as well as neighborhood cleanup projects
