Bachelor’s of Science: Colby-Sawyer College

In 1982 Stephanie began her intercollegiate career competing for the Colby-Sawyer College equestrian team. She was a regional high point champion and a two-time national competitor in the intercollegiate horse show association.

She continued her career as a professional after graduating, teaching and training numerous jr. and adult riders and horses. Those of which compete at regional, New England and national shows and championships.

She has been a contributing board member to the North Shore Horseman’s Association since 2003. The NSHA has over 300 members and runs local hunter/jumper horse shows and offers youth scholarships to local riders entering college.

In 2003 Stephanie and Susan Koso were voted in as President to the Zone 1, Region 4 group of schools for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, which is a national group of competing schools throughout the country. It is a high honor to Stephanie's leadership skills and knowledge of the sport.

Stephanie has been head coach at Endicott Since 1996 when it started with just four members. Today the team is 20-plus strong and competes against some of the highest ranked schools in the country. Endicott hosts two shows a year, one of which is a regional qualifier for zones held at Mt. Holyoke every year. The team proudly finished in third place overall for the 08-09 season, losing only by points against Stonehill College and Tufts University.

Stephanie lives in North Reading, Mass. with her son Sam.
